The odd part is I can still access wp-admin.

@corylamleorg thanks! Yes, I do see some redirects set up in cPanel. I’m dealing with taking over as Webmaster after the one we had passed away a week ago, so I’m still discovering how he set everything up.
He has a redirect for
/loginthat of course takes visitors to the login page for the live site.
There are also redirects for other pages as well.Any suggestions for working around that with the staging site?
btw, excellent job on Duplicator! Makes life a little easier!

But whenever I want to ask something, I never know where to post because I can’t find a list of categories to post in.
But it’s okay if you don’t know. I was just asking in case you did.

Sorry, I had to find another solution.
I tried sending a support request – twice – but after hitting the Send button, nothing happens. The little indicator just keeps slowly flashing, trying to send it.
So I tried to register in the forums, and it keeps telling me the captcha validation is incorrect, even though I KNOW that 4+1=5. I tried twice, with the same result.
I’m using Firefox, so it’s not like I’m using a strange browser.
I cannot reach you. Please advise.
I had full intention to buy the upgrade but I guess I need to move on.
@codersantosh Well, the problem still exists. Can I send you the admin login details so you can have a look?
I totally removed WordPress from the server, emptied the database, and started over.
100% fresh WP install, no changes made. I installed Acme Photo, and followed the instructions for getting it set up, and then the problem returns. Everything I click in the the admin panel just takes me to the site home page.
There is no way to do anything at all except rip it all out again. If you can look at it, I’d appreciate it, because I have no idea why it’s happening.
Yes, I ended up deleting the entire WP installation and starting over yesterday.
I installed Infinite Photography, which wasn’t quite what I wanted, so I went back to AcmePhoto and everything worked as it should. So by the time you tried it, everything was working normally.
