I’m experiencing exactly the same problem, but only using IE or Mozilla.
No worries with Safari.
Does anyone have any idea of what to do to solve that?

I’ve tried to use the CSS position in the file nextgen-gallery/css/nggallery.css but it’s said it’s inactive.
Is it why it doesn’t work? how can I make it active? my plugin is active though…
