In reply to: Can’t connect WP site to domainHello, I believe you’re attempting to add a domain to your WordPress.com website. If this is correct, you must update your DNS record on GoDaddy and add the domain to your WordPress.com website.
Steps to follow:
1. Connect the domain to your WordPress.com website. This can be accomplished by going to Upgrades->Domain->Add a Domain->Use a Domain I Own. Enter your URL and choose between connecting via A/CNAME records or connecting directly to your domain provider. 2. Point your GoDaddy name servers to WordPress.com. ns1.wordpress.com, ns2.wordpress.com, and ns3.wordpress.com are the records. If you go through the steps on your WordPress.com website, it will walk you through the entire process. DNS and name server records typically update in a few minutes, but can sometimes take hours at times.Hope this helps!
