Benjamin – I apologize that I’m not as savvy as I need to be, and I appreciate your help. I’m not sure what I should check?

    I clicked Installed Plugins
    The All-in-one Calendar has three:
    All-in-One Event Calendar by Time.ly
All-in-One Event Calendar Extended Views by Time.ly
All-in-One Event Calendar Frontend Submissions by Time.ly

I have searched around in the settings etc., and I cannot find anything intuitive that says “please make an EVENT button appear magically on my dashboard.”

I did speak to our developer this morning, and I hope to have an instruction session with them soon. She claims I can edit the Categories names that I set up originally but now need to modify without that EVENT button. Either way, it seems like an EVENT button would be helpful, as I don’t have any way to view a list of all the uploaded events unless I go to a link I saved because I stumbled on it when I deleted an event. I can’t get back to that place without going to a specific link: http://cascadeloop.syncinteractive.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=ai1ec_event&ids=3691

I already have a post asking for help with fixing the categories, but without an EVENT button I can’t follow the directions.

Apparently the plugin is activated, I’m able to add events using a link on the top of the screen that has a + New dropdown that includes Event. That brings up a screen to add new events.

Many of the answers to questions I’ve seen on forums mention going to an “EVENT” button on the right nav bar. I don’t have one. We have a developer working on a new site for us, and I’m trying to load events over from our existing site, but the company has recently become completely unprofessional and unwilling to help with something as simple as making sure the plugins they installed work correctly. I appreciate any help you can offer 🙂

Thanks for the reply Benjamin — but apparently we have more trouble that I explained. I don’t have an Event button on my Dashboard. Any suggestions of how to get menu buttons to show up?
