After some search I found this issue in this forum 4 years ago. Someone made a plugin for it so you could put the html code you want to put on the site for someone else between < c o d e > and < / c o d e > and then the wptexturize would leave it alone. Now I found you don’t need the plugin anymore for it seems to be default to use < c o d e > and < / c o d e > for html codes to stay the way they are. Seems logical. There is even a button for it I see now.

Nop, I’ve tried that already but wp switches it back into ” the moment it is displayed It switches the & # 3 4 ; (without spaces) into ” again and turns it into the curled quotes ( & # 8 2 2 1 ; ) when displayed.Forum: Fixing WordPress

Thanks guys for your help. I have found the issue. The back up on my computer was a version back. I have used the post template of wp 3.5 and now my site is back. I am so relieved. Thanks again. I was not thinking.
I changed the words in post-template (part of wp-includes) from the back up on my computer in notepad++ and then uploaded it with Filezilla. The site went blank so I changed it back in it’s original. It still kept white. I even uploaded a copy from another website but nothing happened but a white screen. I cannot enter anything now.
