In reply to: return to dashboardProblem solved. I had a backup of the admin.php file and used that to gain access. What was exactly the reason I do not know.

In reply to: return to dashboardTx Esmi for trying, but it is not so easy. I did what you suggested, but I keep getting a blank page when I try to go to the admin section. I also replaced after this the wp-admin folder with a backup, but keep getting the same blank page. I am at a loss.

Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: “Already Installed” problemI do not think it is as simple. I have the same problem. PHP is activated. I installed wordpress before on two other sites with no problems at all. But at my new site I downloaded the wp 2.7.1. could it be that I am using the same database, but different user?
I spent a whole morning already cleaning out and reinstalling, so it could be that in the process something got fouled up. Appreciate your comment.Forum: Fixing WordPress

I have read both your comments in the forum. Steve’s problem is worded exactly as I would put it. However for my case I lved the problem by using the login-stayput plugin:http://www.trashcan.org/2006/12/15/wordpress-login-stayput-plugin/
I loaded the plugin, activated it, logged out, went to the site anew, logged-in and now it works. So, maybe it works for you too Steve
