Yes, this does seem to have been added by my coworker, for no rational reason I can comprehend <grin!>…he works remotely on contract, so I’m just going to delete his comments and make sure my div widths correspond to the standard 16-col 960 grid, which indeed the TwentyTen css seems to use.

I stupidly assumed that when I saw that 18-col grid in every single Twenty Ten-based theme, it came from the WordPress folks, which I really wondered about!!!
