In reply to: [Better Stop Adblock] Broken in 4.0Tried and tried to get this working again but nothing, zip, nada. Enable plugin, check settings, try page with Adblock plus enabled in Firefox and nothing happens, ads are just blocked, no message appears.
Edit – just tried the “Tempo di attesa prima di Intervenire. ( Lasciare vuoto per Default )” (translation has never worked for me either) setting and put it to 1. Then Better Stop Adblock appeared on every page even if adblock was off and even if the page was excluded from blocking!
I guess this plugin is just broken 🙁

In reply to: [Internet Defense League Cat Signal] Message appears too oftenVery weird then, because I’m absolutely 100% sure it only appears once per visit in IE and Firefox but on every page in Chrome. At least, once I dismiss the message it doesn’t appear again until I clear my browser cache.
Every page is absurd really, there’s making a point about an important issue and just annoying the crap out of your visitors.
I’ll change the preferences to homepage only then, but of course that will miss a lot of visitors who won’t enter the site from the homepage.

There should be an option somewhere in your control panel to use the same folder for HTTP and HTTPS.
Apparently not, and my hosting company says not either, is there any other way before I consider a different host? Are their hosts that specialize in WordPress perhaps?
I wish it were that simple! I’ll e-mail them again, thanks. If they can’t help me, maybe I’ll move hosts.

“We have no way of supporting a custom install of WordPress. It looks like you are on the right path with the tutorials that WordPress has included.
I can advise that we do not support SSL without a SSL certification from GEOTRUST.”
What a crappy answer. Also, they do support self-signed SSL certificates because I had them working before.
So, I’m back to square one. I will e-mail them again, but in the meantime does anyone anywhere have any idea how I can easily get SSL working without actually having two copies of my WordPress installation?
