In reply to: [WP Rollback - Rollback Plugins and Themes] 3.0.4 fatal errorSorry – Bug is still there
I don’t have any account, so I can’t access your contact form.
Any advise please.
Okay, I’ll do that over the weekend.
Which installation logs are you referring to? Regarding the installation of the plugin: Following your colleague’s initial feedback, the plugin and all associated data were removed. Regarding the cloned site: Unfortunately, the site in question has since been completely deleted for security reasons. I would, of course, repeat the cloning procedure. The problem is that the WordPress interface is completely inaccessible due to the bug. I would have to find the file(s) you need via the file system. It would be helpful to know the name and perhaps also the directory of the log file(s).
PS The WordPress site in question is a somewhat larger installation, at over 65 GB. So I can’t really create the clone on the fly.
This is not about just any plugin, but a specific plugin that is explicitly mentioned when the clone is created. It is also explicitly stated there that the plugin in question will be deactivated.
I understand your answer so that although you sell software, and eventually demand money for it, it will always remain a surprise whether the cloned new version will actually work. This is unacceptable. I will inform Elegant Themes accordingly so that your plugin is removed from their list of recommended software.
You just have to install the plugin mentioned, activate it, choose any new admin page definition, and then, with the plugin in use, run the backup in order to create a clone site.
You then move the installer and backup files to an empty directory, create the database, and run the installer. That’s it. The installer notices that there is that plugin, and the user is being told that the plugin has been deactivated. But obviously that hasn’t happened.- This reply was modified 9 months ago by Hanno.
Not a chance. I tried to get information from him about his company – I wanted to buy the PRO version and needed his address and VAT ID. He didn’t respond at all. So it could well be that he is not even based in Greece, but in Russia or somewhere else. Who knows? Very suspicious company. I deleted the plugin some time ago.

That would be great, thank you.
Correct. I could do this using an editor, but I would love to have a permanent solution 🙂
To call a problem solved by saying that you can’t test the theme because it’s not free is simply cheeky. Divi is not that rare on the market, is it? I’d rather find another solution for guest posts. Thanks for nothing.
How come … thanks for the hint

In reply to: [Broken Link Checker] Divi multi-view links are not resolved correctlyYes, feel free to do so. As I wrote, I had to deinstall the plugin in order to have the site working ok. I will try and reproduce the problem on a different (test) site, but I will need some time to get back to you.
Thank you for your patience.
My experience: If the web server shows “500” errors, don’t immediately blame the developer, but perhaps have a look at the server log files. A directive was missing, which is why read access to the directory with the webp files failed. After the server-side problem was fixed, the plugin works like clockwork, with noticeable effects on performance. And the support was great and stress-free. Thank you!

Thank you for caring. It’s a website that’s already online, so I’m not relying on help coming anytime soon (if ever); I’ve seen too many times (regarding other plugins) that it doesn’t happen at all. So please understand my reaction, you simply loose confidence.
I will try once more to get the plugin to work, but this time with only a single file that is not displayed on the fly, instead of the bulk option. I would get back to you afterwards.Forum: Reviews
In reply to: [Newsletter - Send awesome emails from WordPress] No thanksI would definitely like to complete the setup in places that may still be missing. But you would need to know what that is. And as long as your server returns a 500 error, unfortunately no help is available at all. Instead, there are messages such as “License Check Failed” and “Verification not possible” – none of this really helps without further explanation.
