    Yes, I’m having the same issue, not staying logged in after logging in through login panel and when selecting visit site,it reverts back to logged out status.
    Not the plugins as they have not changed for many months and this started happening just under a month ago.
    To do any wotk, it has to be done through the dashboard or else I have no other access to publish posts or pages which can be frustrating asnd time consuming.

    if anyone comes up with a fix for this problem then kindly conact me at [contact redacted – support is only provided here] as it would really free up valuable time.

    Many thanks

    After doing some tinkering, I tried the optio alchymyth gave me of just removing the middle section of the code and it seems to have done the trick.:)

    Hmm, didn’t work.
    I extracted the functions file from the original copy of the theme, pasted it in the exisitng file for the theme but the site loses the footer section when I do it.
    I’ve put it back again to how it was, it seems these guys deliberately set it up so that you can’t overwrite the existing code.

    Looks like I eitheer lose the footer to get rid of the links, or I have to live with them on the site and risk getting penalised for hidden links.

    I have the zip file of the theme so is it possible to just extrasct the function file from it?
    Any tips on this as I’m not sure about it,:)

    I have another site that uses the same theme without any real customisation.
    Would as copy of that function php file do the trick?

    I’ve pasted the code in the section you suggested.:)

    Is there a way to delete the links without affecting the site?

    Hi Jan
    I did some forum searches and managed to figure out where the links are but don’t know what to delete.
    They placed the links in the functions php file of the theme and when I removed the section the footer disappeared completely so I put it back to how it was.

    This is the code where the links have been hidden:

    function custom_footer() {
        ?>
        <p class="credit"><a href="http://moderated" title="WordPress Tutorials">WordPress Tutorials</a> | <a href="http://moderated" title="Design web">Design web</a> | <a href="http://moderated" title="Free website design">Free website design</a> | <a href="http://moderated" title="Site Gratis">Site Gratis</a></p>
        <?php }

    I just noticed, the links in my origianl post have been removed so to explain further, the homepage source code is showing 4 urls in the footer section which should not be there and would like to find a way to remove them because they don’t show in normal page view or admin files section.

    Any advice on how to remove the links greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Hi Jan thanks but that doesn’t help because it’s not a real hack.
    They got access to the site from the work I gave them and unknown to me, they dopped the 4 links into my site.

    WHat I really need now is to find a way to remove the links because I can’t find them in any of the files, only when I view the source could, that’s when they show but they don’t show up on anything else.

    Hope you understand me now.:)

    Hi
    I deactivated and deleted this plugin hoping it would allow access to the widgets again but I’m still not able to use widgets any more on my site.

    Does anybody know how to get this fixed. I thought by deleting the plugin it would fix the problem but it looks like it’s messed up the widget section and need to make it go back to how it was before installing this awful plugin.
