In reply to: Background Showing Up BlurryJake,
Thank you for taking a moment to respond to my question. The theme that I am using, Newspaper, is a very popular magazine-style theme. I can’t for the life of me understand why it would expect small patterned images. However, it does appear clear when I tile it. The problem is that I don’t want to tile it.
When I upload the image, it appears perfectly clear when I go to Media. It is only when I actually use it as the background for the footer where the blurriness comes into play. That does suggest that this is a theme issue, I agree. I’m going to take my inquiry exclusively to the theme forums. However, if anyone has some insight here, please do chime in.

In reply to: Changing widget fontI could attempt to go to the developer but I feel like I should save that for super burning questions. I don’t want to be “that guy” who has a question every five seconds.

At this point I want to take Mor10 and hurl him into a black abyss.

In reply to: Wrong Page/or Post Ranking For KeywordJason,
Thanks for the pointers. I guess you are advocating a, “Just do things the right way and things will eventually appear in the appropriate order” sort of approach. The website is new, and there are very few sites, if any, linking to it. So, point well taken that any incoming links would probably be to the homepage instead of the tertiary pages, which would have the effect of eventually “righting the ship” with the most relevant and timely content for each keyword being displayed on top. I guess I was just looking for some little trick or tweak that would allow me to exercise rapid, precise control. That may not exist, and that is fine. I guess I will just continue to develop and publicize the site in a logical manner and trust the search engines to display the right material at the right time. Thanks again.

In reply to: Wrong Page/or Post Ranking For KeywordI guess I wasn’t sure where to post because it seems to me it spans both WordPress and Google’s technicalities. I’m uncertain whether the actual SERPS are being incorrectly displayed because WordPress is somehow mismanaging the data or I don’t have some sort of functionality checked in some check box or whether this is a pure issue about an algorithm. That’s why I posted this here. My apologies if this isn’t the appropriate venue for the post, but I remain unsure. I’ll definitely post it there too though!
