In reply to: Manual credit card paymentThank you, but Paypal on their site says that on their basic package the client should have the choice – very confusing – I tried to email/talk to Paypal but impossible even though their site is littered with invitations to do so.
All a bit ewxhausting and the last thing I need when starting a company!
Cheers

In reply to: Manual credit card paymentI’m afraid my Paypal page doesn’t give any options other than logging in to Paypal or joining Paypal : maybe I’m missing something – please have a look on my site – it’s http://thaimassageforall.com.
I think my web designer who is no longer with us got the bog basic version.
Any thoughts most welcome.

In reply to: Manual credit card paymentUmm don’t think I quite understand that – basically to pay now the customer has to join Paypal – I’d rather not make them do that.
Another option (somewhat easier!) is to simply say if you don’t want to pay by Paypal then phone me.
But how to I do a really simple thing like insert text in the page – I’ve looked in the manual, in The Dummies book etc. and all seem to assume a vaste knowledge I don’t possess – I’d hoped my web desgner would have helpewd me but he didn’t and he’s gone.
So is there anyone out there who can tell me with little or no jargon how to do it (I read somewhere that if the designer put in HTML text I have to too – what does this mean and how do I do it????!!!!)
Any help grweatly appreciated!

In reply to: Manual credit card paymentYes, you can. But on the site I’ve got you’ve got to pay with them through paypal – which means you have to join Paypal to do it – not a good idea when you want to make it as easy as possible to pay. Most sites give you a choice between paying through Paypal or manually with your card – that’s the plugin I’m looking for.
Many thanks
