WPtouch uses that thumbnail in its posts to offer crisp images for retina and high-dpi screens. If you’re using thumbnails in posts it’s recommended to leave this in place.
Hi,
Testing the latest version of WPtouch, we can’t reproduce this behavior on our end. On itechfever.com we don’t see any version of WPtouch currently activated and on facebookcommentimages.com we see WPtouch Pro, but not the issue.
We can take a closer look at the issue on itechfever.com if you’d like. You can activate it and let us know and we’ll be happy to take a look. Thank you.
From reviewing both sites, they appear to use the same desktop theme. Usually, when the desktop theme uses a dedicated “Blog” page to serve its listing, the free version of WPtouch cannot access the page (as can WPtouch Pro).
You may want to deactivate all plugins from both site’s Plugins areas to test if the page displays the same on both. This will rule out any active plugin factors in play.
The WPtouch and WPtouch Pro plugins do not support e-commerce plugins out-of-the-box but may be configured to successfully accommodate most. The wptouch.com site, for instance, uses WooCommerce.
We’re happy to help. Support for WPtouch Pro is provided exclusively through the ticketing system. Should you need further assistance, login to your wptouch.com account and open a new ticket. We’ll get back to you within 1 business day.

In reply to: How to use Event Manager plugin in wptouchIf a plugin uses its own templates, those will need to be added to the mobile theme in order for the content to display. The free version of WPtouch does not offer this capability. WPtouch Pro is built to accommodate advanced desktop theme functionality such as custom post types, custom templates, and shortcodes. Many customers have successfully implemented WPtouch Pro’s mobile themes with the Event Manager plugin.
An alternative with the free version is to create a custom WordPress menu that excludes those pages that use Event Manager content and to offer alternate content through that menu.
That is the gateway for WPtouch Pro customers to access their paid support. Use your account info to sign in. Your email will be the one used to purchase the plugin and you can use the link to change/create a new password if you’ve misplaced the one sent to you.

The issue is a result of the caching software overriding the mobile theme with incorrect content (not an issue with WPtouch). It is common and easily resolved.
You may configure your caching plugin and/or service not to cache mobile pages nor to serve cached pages when mobile devices are detected. To do so, enter the user agents found in the documentation link below to the “rejected user agents” areas in your caching plugin’s settings. Remember to clear your plugin, browser, and device caches before retesting. If needed, manually delete all cached files from the server via FTP.

That is an indication that there is a Javascript conflict active in your WordPress configuration. These are generally simple to locate and resolve.
To isolate which plugin(s) may be contributing to the trouble, deactivate all except WPtouch from within the WordPress Plugins area, clear your browser cache and local data then test.
If WPtouch functions well, you may then enable the rest of your plugins one at a time, repeating the process, until you can identify which is/are causing the problem.
You may choose to replace the conflicting plugin with another or upgrade to WPtouch Pro which has a feature that will allow you to disable the conflicting plugin within your mobile theme but leave your desktop theme intact.
The Bauhaus theme does not offer tablet support. WPtouch Pro offers other themes that do support tablets. You may preview them at http://demo.wptouch.com/.
DianeWPtouch Pro offers themes with tablet support but the free version does not. If you are seeing the Bauhaus theme on tablets then there is likely a caching issue on your site as Bauhaus does not offer tablet support.

WPtouch Pro has standard settings where you may include AdSense ads or ad script from another network. There are 3 standard locations for ads to display but if that doesn’t suit you, you may customize your mobile theme for your ads to display anywhere you like. We recommend adhering to your ad network’s terms of use.
The WPtouch Pro mobile theme will use the ad network’s script in the same way that the desktop theme does.
