Well that sucks, so after setting up everything on a staging site there is no way to transfer it to live?
I am so Incredibly sorry that i wasted your precious time. I just found out that the problem is related to the child-theme of divi wherein a colleague added a small but important function that lead to said problems.
Again, sorry. I am an idiot to not have looked at that earlier.

It seems like we found another issue with Divi just now:
There seems to be quite the performance problem with your plugin in combination with Divi
With Divi the Performance is horrific. We deactivated EVERY other plugin. We run on a massive dedicated server with nothing else on it and the memory limit already is increased to 512 mb.
Hence we followed all your rules but still the loading time is on average 12 seconds.
Is it possible that your plugin is in conflict with divi? Once we set to standard-theme the page speed war great again.
To summarize problem 1 and 2:
1. Divi Global Builder doesn’t load while GeoDirectory is active
2. Page Performance is horrific and Memory usage is uncredibly high while Divi and GeoDirecory need to work togetherThank you for your super fast support and reply. I highly appreciate it. Best regards to you!
