I’m having exactly the same problem with .pdf files. I have uploads enabled, pdf extensions added, size limit set appropriately, permissions are rocking.
jpgs work fine, pdfs upload displaying File uploaded!
Your file PhillipsEtAl2003.pdf was uploaded successfully!
but i get the above error message and, indeed, the file isn’t there.
(it also reports any upload I do to be 0 bytes and won’t make image thumbnails either…)
