    Hi Yehudah

I have resolved this issue by fortunate accident. I was working on the site and also got a message that I did “not have permissions to view draft” in Preview. I did a separate search on that issue and found this:

The problem happens if, and only if, the WordPress Address and the Site Address are different on the General Settings page. There are legitimate reasons to make these two URLs be different, such as using a shared SSL certificate, as I have already describe here.

That applied to my site and when I addressed it by taking out the “www” it resolved the issue.

    Thanks for trying to help

    Hi Yedhudah

Thanks you’ve helped me move the problem on although not solved. I’ve published the test page and its showing ok. I need to redefine the problem.

It appears the issue I am having is only with Previews. Not a s serious as I though but as this is a major relaunch I still need to be able to extensive preview new pages as I develop them.

Are you aware of any issues that might apply just to Previews?

    Bob

    Thanks Yehudah

I’ve now tried that and also clearing cookies using the browser but did not solve the problem. Thank you for trying.
