In reply to: How to Remove Theme Header from One PageI followed instructions and put the code to exclude certain pages at the top and bottom of header.php. It worked perfectly, but seems to have caused a problem.
The pages I created this way have a live link called Edit. Anyone viewing my pages who clicked on the link would be brought inside my WordPress Admin Panel, where they could edit the page – and anything else on my site!
What can I do?
Thanks for your ongoing help!

In reply to: How to Remove Theme Header from One PageThanks so much, genusone! That works. If I want this to apply to two pages, should I put both page IDs in the quote, separated by a comma? Or should I put each page ID in quotes, both quotes separated by a comma? page(‘1,2’) or page(‘1′,’2’)?
What I did was put your code at the very top and very bottom of header.php.
Mat Lipe, thanks for responding!

In reply to: Delete General Prefix from The Morning AfterHi, gambusino,
I haven’t had this problem in a long time, although it’s not for any reason I know.
I use the latest version of WordPress (don’t know if this makes a difference.)
I recently installed the W3 Total Cache plug-in, which has improved the speed and performance of my whole site (again, I don’t know if this made a difference).
This is one of those WordPress Mysteries. I can only tell you the problem went away, but I don’t know why.
Best of luck!

In reply to: How to Add Color to One Menu Item?“You need to assign a class with a background color to the list item “Membership”.
I apologize for my ignorance, but what’s a “class,” and how do I use it to assign a background color? Is there documentation I could read? You can tell I’m no programmer, so think of this as leading the blind.

In reply to: Need Video Sitemap That WorksJust checked. Status of the sitemap is still “pending.” I’ll let you know if Google indexes the 12 URLs.

In reply to: Need Video Sitemap That WorksGoogle XML Sitemap for Video seemed to perform as promised. It confirmed that a video sitemap was created. The documentation for this plug-in specifically cites YouTube. I went to Google Webmaster Tools and submitted the sitemap. The submission was accepted. Google cautioned that it might take them a while to index the contents, so I’ll check back later. So far, so good. Since YouTube is now part of Google, I’d be surprised if they wouldn’t index files from their own service.
