Nice that works well. So there is a section of white now between the topbar menu and the slider.

How could I change the color of just that section and place some text in that area?

Or just remove that white all together and have the topbar menu and the slider touch.

Yes thanks!! So right now I have the following code:

.home-iconmenu .home-icon-item, .home-iconmenu a {
    background-color: #000000;
}
.home-iconmenu .home-icon-item:hover {
background: #008c6b;
}

So your saying I should remove the second half and change the color in basic styling.

Nvm I got it under Theme Options > Misc Settings. I can add new sidebars there. Also, added the plugin Q2W3 Fixed Widget which lets me fix the sidebar to follow with the scroll. All you do it add the plugin and go to Appearance > widget and click on each widget added and check off the fixed item check box.

Problem now is what setting have i crossed here to have the sidebar located on the left and the right on the home page?

Only need it to be on the right
