Annnnnd, the second I posted that, the whole shebang started working again. Still with no .htaccess files.
This is getting beyond weird. Anyone have any ideas to fill in what happened? I don’t really want to walk around with the possibility of a relapse hanging over my head.

Ah, I see. “Thumbsize” spaces the images whereas the Media gallery is what will resize the actual thumbnails.
So I’ve been mucking about with the Flash Gallery, and it seems it only wants to do some of my changes.
No matter what thumbsize I make the images, they’re grouped up and overlapped at standard size.
