I am having the same problem. I did everything Andrew did but can’t get rid of those pages in the navbar. I can see them posted in the source code. If I could just get to it but I think the only way available (that I know) is through the WordPress page edit. I tried in cpanel with no success.
I’m wondering if it is a plugin that is conflicting.

I guess I don’t know enough to know what that means or what to do about it. Is it an issue I should take up with the creator of the theme? Or is it something I could easily fix?
