If anyones review is a sock puppet review, its dehenderson here. He hasn’t even tried our plugin or service and he is on here slandering our service and product and he is also slandering us on twitter. For no reason. We spent several hours helping him and he just went berzerk and started writing “its too much hype” every where and making false claims when he hasn’t even tried our plugin. I am not sure why someone would do such a thing unless he was sent here by a competitor? Sounds like HE is the one you should be removing, if you are a moderator.

cubecolour i assure you we have not written any “sock puppet” reviews and we don’t have multiple accounts. All the reviews you see on there are from our actual users and clients.

cubecolour what sock puppet reviews are you referring to? Your member status doesn’t even say you are a wordpress moderator so I am not really sure why you are here or what “sock puppet” reviews you are referring to?

Hi dehenderson 🙂 We are sorry to hear you feel that way. Especially since our customer service agents spent several hours assisting you with all your questions, and at the end, without even trying our plugin or service, you are on here writing us a negative feedback and making false claims. That really shows your character and the credibility to what you are claiming. You didn’t even try the plugin or service at the end because you claimed it had too much hype, so how would you know if it slowed down your website? Also, what does hype have to do with quality and performance? Nothing. You are sending crazy tweets slandering our product and service, when you haven’t even tried the product. I am not sure why anyone in their right mind would do such a thing.

Thank you for contacting us! The problem with the pull option for amazon cloudfront is that it will pull files in their original state from your website and what Blue Hat Turbo does is, it creates an OPTIMIZED shadow copy of your files and uses the external s3 storage as a place to hold those optimized shadow copies, so there technically needs to a duplicate copy of your files that needs to be stored somewhere and most people don’t want to create a bunch of extra files on their own web hosting disk because maintaining those extra copies on local disk would be more headache then it is worth, that is why we designed it to use amazon s3 and cloudfront together because that way, if for any reason you need to quickly switch back to your original files, you can simply disable the “Enable CDN” option in the settings page and everything will instantly revert back to your original copy of files, so that is why we designed it that way.

I personally think host gator is pretty good. I have a friend that actually uses host gator and he says he likes it. He said they have never given him any problems so that is a good sign 🙂

oh by the way…. you don’t necessarily need to use a additional smush.it plugin if you are using blue hat turbo because blue hat turbo already has smush.it feature built in, so you can safely disable that plugin and get more speed gain 🙂 All you really need to get ultimate performance from your website is Blue Hat Turbo and another cache plugin like WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache. You don’t really need any additional performance plugins 🙂 We are also releasing new version 2.0 next week which introduces alot of new optimization features and also a patent pending technology that further turbo charges your website, so lets just say that when version 2.0 is released, all you will EVER need to turbo charge your website is Blue Hat Turbo and another caching plugin and you will get UNBELIEVABLE results. There won’t be another product like it on the market, so you’re definitely heading in the right direction 🙂

Please let is know if we can be of further assistance. Thank you 🙂

yes, that function is normal to take a few seconds because it is attempting to scan and sync your entire website static media files at that point, so 2.5 seconds is actually not that bad considering the operation that it is completing, but it will only syncs files that have been changed or modified since there last sync date, so 2.5 seconds is pretty normal for that operation.

I also checked the page you mentioned and it loaded fine for me 🙂

We can definitely understand your point on that, but its not just our logo. Its an icon and identity for the plugin which helps people to easily identify where it is and have it easily accessible, so its not just because we want to show our logo because we want to be fancy, we want to make sure its in a prominent place and is nice on the eyes from a design perspective. The icon is the plugins identity, it brings attention to the menu item when it has an icon as opposed to it being a hidden text menu item which is not as pretty or apparent for some users, but WE DO definitely understand your perspective and we do understand that wordpress plugins usually have the menu item under the settings submenu, so we will look into this further, and if it makes sense from a design and usability perspective then we will make the necessary changes 🙂

We appreciate your feedback! Please feel free to let us know if we can be of further assistance, thank you!

    Hi DJosephDesign 🙂

Thank you, we appreciate your feedback! We can definitely understand your perspective on this. The reason we originally went with the top level menu item instead of a submenu item was mainly for design purposes, more specifically we wanted show the blue hat turbo menu item and icon in a prominent place where people would easily find it and access it, but if we can still have the menu item show in the submenu with its icon, then we could definitely look into moving it there, but if we are not able to show our menu icon there along with the menu item, then our menu item would not be prominent enough for users to easily find it and access it, so we may not want to move it to the sub section, but this is great feedback and we will definitely look into this! Thank you for bringing it to our attention! We will look into this further and if it makes sense design wise, and usability wise, then we will implement it in the next upcoming release 🙂

Please let us know if we can be of further assistance. Thank you 🙂

well, technically it CAN support any CDN, however at this moment it only has support for Amazon CloudFront, Rackspace CloudFiles, and Blue Hat CDN, however if you feel maxcdn is absolutely necessary for your needs, then you can suggest it here and we will build it into a future release:
