    Check file permissions and ownership. When you restore, since it’s manual, there’s a possibility of errors.

    Checked permissions and ownership. Permissions are preserved while extracting files out of backup and the same user extracts the files which is using them 🙂

    Are you sure you’re pointed to the right DB prefix?

    Yep. Verified this. In both production and test sites, the prefix is – “wp_”

    That probably overwrite your DB and the settings too then. Whatever caused the rollback is going to cause instability in a restore 🙁

    We are using DreamPress to manage all the hosting of WordPress on both Production and Test sites. But the issues were happening before rollback of WordPress as well. Any idea what could have happened?
