I tried this plugin and I’m still not receiving emails when someone post a comment, Easy WP SMTP, The test email worked though.

I have both of these boxes checked:

E-mail me whenever:
Anyone posts a comment
A comment is held for moderation

I disabled all the plugins except the check email one and I switched my theme to Twenty Fourteen. When I sent an email using standard headers I got this message:

The test email has been sent by WordPress. Please note this does NOT mean it has been delivered. See wp_mail in the Codex for more information. The headers sent were:

MIME-Version: 1.0\r\n
From: lookatmedigital@yahoo.com\r\n
Content-Type: text/plain; charset=”UTF-8″\r\n

Disable all other plugins and switch to twentyfifteen theme. Try it both ways, normal headers and custom headers. Post the code you see for the normal headers.

This didn’t work.

Yes I checked my spam folder.
