My site also became slow/unresponsive with the upgrade of the plugin. After I deleted the plugin, my site started to load swiftly again. I too was using it only for login/registration. Thanks for the instructions regarding the external css. My site is back to functional.
Would other jquery-based plugins cause this issue?
I have confirmed that both plugins will work together, as long as the masking errors in Login Lockdown are disabled.
I have Socialite installed on 2 WP sites and working in Twitter and Facebook, but not MySpace. I do have cURL installed so I’m not sure if I need to recompile or if something changed on MySpace’s end.
