Pending payment —> Hold stock (minutes) = 20 —> …20 min… —> Cancelled
And in this case, in general, sending a notification?
I quote: “Cancelled order emails are sent to chosen recipient(s) when orders have been marked cancelled (if they were previously processing or on-hold)”.
!!! “… PROCESSING OR ON-HOLD …” !!!
But in my case the previous status – “Pending payment”.

You prompted where to look for the problem.
I fixed this problem.
Now the status is changed to “Cancel” according to the “Hold” setting.But!
There was another problem.
Notifications of cancellation of orders are not sent.
