The properties of your image are this:
<img width=”915″ height=”610″ src=”http://SeatownFitnatics.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/02/o14a0436.jpg” class=”attachment-sela-hero-thumbnail wp-post-image” alt=”kite at the beach”>
If your image width = “1180” then it will span the page.

Not all themes have that as an automatic option…however if you search via plug-ins for adding favicon, you will find several good ones!
