Well I know my password (Michael h).
And what I’m trying to do (edekin) is add a plug-in. I’ll try doing it the your way, but I’m not so much worried about that- i know how to use an ftp client to add a plug-in. I’m trying to figure out why I can’t do it THIS way. Sometimes when I delete the hostname to retype it in, or to try bisforbounce.com (rather than bisforbounce.com/blog – they were both the wordpress file at one point) i’ll hit proceed, and it does this: <img src=”http://bisforbounce.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/picture-6-300×145.png” alt=”picture-6″ title=”picture-6″ width=”300″ height=”145″ class=”alignnone size-medium wp-image-718″ />
I don’t know why it adds the extra bisforbounce.

The linked domain thing i’m not sure about. But… the way that I understand hacking works is by finding an entryway- a place where you should get a 404 page but then don’t- and then you can see the file structure in the url bar. You then navigate around the website using that as your point of reference in a way that is similar to using terminal (on mac) (so like using / to go to root, etc.) . So what I would do, is if you have google analytics, look for a page that only one person has been to, that you’ve never seen before. Navigate to that page and then see if you get a 404. if you don’t get a 404 and it says something about your server, then the mystery is solved. If you do get a 404 then i don’t know, and if you get a normal page then check your content and what it links to.

It looks like your background image is reverting to the original background image that was there when you downloaded the theme- the default. I would say check the code and see what image it is referencing as the background image. Which code, I don’t know, but it’s one of them. probably background.php . but i dont know for sure.
