I just upgraded to WordPress 2.7.1. and I’m still having the issue.

I disabled my plugins.

I was looking at the wrong error log before. The items dated today were in a different list. I have pasted them all below in the hopes that someone can decipher them and suggest what I should do.

Still, I would think that upgrading the files should have fixed this. But it did not.

Any thoughts?

I logged in to my account at BlueHost.

I clicked on phpMyAdmin (under Databases).

I clicked on “Databases”.

I clicked on the name of the database for my blog.

I checked the box next to “wp_comments”.

I chose “Repair Table” from the pull-down menu at the bottom.

It repaired the table and my comments returned.

I went into the phpMyAdmin window and chose “wp_comments” from the sidebar. It says that the table is marked as crashed and should be repaired. Can someone guide me toward how to do that?

In my earlier post, I thought this might be a problem with the Theme Editor, but it isn’t. I reinstalled my entire theme from an old backup, and even changed to another theme, but I still get doubled postings.

Any thoughts?
