In reply to: All my media is haywire on dashboard, gone from siteI’m having the same problem, all my content in Media is gone, therefore, none of the images are showing up on my posts, pages and sidebar.
Before I do what is suggested to do here, I want to make sure I understand what this does. What exactly am I refreshing by going through the steps above, the media files? Or anything but the media files? If I could understand the logics behind it, that’d be helpful. I’m just afraid to go through the steps only to find out that everything is set to default after so many days and hours of customizing…
Also, I am using the Pure theme, so am I to add “-old” to the end of the Pure folder? How does that switch the theme to the Twenty Eleven?
I am using the most recent wp version, so it seems like step 3 “running the upgrade manually” is not possible in my case.
