Ok I figured it out. I didn’t realize that there was another stylesheet called styles_IE.css that contained the original code. i just renamed it and now it is fine.

i am fairly new to this so go easy on me. also matters are complicated by the fact that i’m behind a firewall at work and can’t edit a lot of the site because of this “enable sending referers” business…
