On top of that if a user clicks on the text it’d be great to copy it to the clipboard, just like what happens if you click COPY.
Using
pointer-events: none;makes it non-editable but if you double click on the text and right-click copy then it adds a few extra blank spaces to your clipboard. Hopefully no one would double click on it, but just in case they do I don’t want them to have spaces in the address. You need to use a different from email for the second connection.
Hi @arif777
I use a few different email clients to check my emails, so it definitely supports 3rd party applications. The fact that SMTP works with the email I’m using in WPERP must mean it supports 3rd party applications?I’m with MX route

My IMAP server is shadow.mxrouting.netHi Angelo,
Unfortunately, I didn’t ever get it working. It’s okay though as it’s not hugely necessary. Most will listen to the podcast through their devices, rather than on the website itself.Hey Angelo,
I tried “podcasts” with lowercase and it’s still not working.
By website tab do you mean the front-end of the CPT?
This is the front-end of one of the post types: https://theacademyint.com/podcasts/week-6-foundational-theology-markUp until just before no player would show up. However, with Jet Engine I’ve now added a single page theme to add what displays on each post type. I added [powerpress_playlist channel=”2020-online” post-type=”podcasts”]. Now each post correctly shows the episode on the page for ‘2020-online’ If it’s a different podcast then it doesn’t display correctly. However the playlist shortcode still isn’t working…
Hi @amandato
Thanks for that additional info. It’ll be so good to get this working.
However it’s still not showing up. I entered [powerpress_playlist channel=”2020-online” post-type=”Podcasts”]
I’m using Jet Engine to set the CPT. Here’s a screenshot to show some of my post type settings: https://allthepics.net/image/jet-engine-cpt.dMX2wHere’s a link to one of the pages created when I make a podcast. Even when I’m logged in it doesn’t show any media files, yet the RSS feed itself works perfectly: https://theacademyint.com/podcasts/week-6-foundational-theology-mark/
And this is my podcast RSS feed (happy to private message you the credentials if you need): https://theacademyint.com/podcast/2020-online
Is it not working because my CPT slug is ‘Podcasts’? Should I pick something that doesn’t clash with the Powerpress ‘podcast’ slug?

In reply to: [Wise Chat] Using emoji’s Cause Messages To Not SendHey @marcinlawrowski
I deactivated and activated the plugin and now it all works! Thanks for that.P.S. I think it’d be cool to have something like OpenMoji as one of the emoticon sets. I’m currently using Pidgin cos it looked the nicest, but even it’s looking quite dated. I might upgrade to Pro to load in more modern emoji sets, but I just think it’d be cool to have a more up to date set for the free users.

In reply to: [Wise Chat] Using emoji’s Cause Messages To Not SendHey,
so there’s an update for Wise Chat with this in the changelog: Fixed: no message when posting emojis (messages table converted from utf8 to utf8mb4)However, it still doesn’t appear to be working. If I post an emoji, e.g. π¦ in wise chat it won’t send.
Hey Mike.
That’s fair enough. In the end I was able to embed the most recent episode on the website using the Radio Public player, as they allow embedding private rss feeds. I still use Powerpress to generate the feed.I’ve checked that already.
Here are my settings to confirm

Hey Mike, I’ve got that checked already. However when I insert the podcast channel shortcode [powerpress_playlist channel=”2020-online”] nothing shows up. I use Elementor and have tried with the shortcode widget and the text editor widget.
Is nothing showing up because the CPT doesn’t actually display the episode? Here’s an example of one of the posts in the CPT: https://theacademyint.com/podcasts/week-6-foundational-theology-mark/
The podcast feed itself generates perfectly.

In reply to: [Wise Chat] Using emoji’s Cause Messages To Not SendIf I use the text filter and replace π with π then it converts it to the Pidgeon emoticons that I have in Wise Chat. So I could manually go through and replace all the emoji’s with emoticons I suppose. It would take quite some time though.
I also tried using the regular (regex) expression and put in the unicode of the emoji’s and replaced them with π
Sadly that didn’t work.Figured it all out! π Under Compatibility untick Don’t Run Shortcode In Admin
It then shows up in the Elementor page builder.Actually, it appears to be working. It just shows up with the shortcode in the Elementor builder, but if you click Update and then preview the page it appears to appear as it should.
