Thanks Zota. I don’t think I have been hacked. I passed on my log in details to my new web designer and it looks like they have done something stupid… Hostgator just came back with a report where I can see when and who logged in. I will change the log in details any way. Ridiculous.

Thanks guys. Hostgator will be restoring the files. Someone deleted them… and it wasn’t me. Full investigation is on.

Hello. I must say I am confused. The link you mention is the link I said in my first email takes me to the home page (tab called ‘Helping You’ so I am aware that it takes me to the wrong location.

I guess that what I am asking where else in WP can I check that the tab I am talking about isn’t set up as home page as it looks to be. As mentioned I have checked in the obvious places and can’t find the error.

Can you perhaps direct me please? Thanks.

    Hi…

I have copied and paste the link /home2/beahg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/landing-pages/modules/module.javascript-frontend.php to the pages and not only it shows no error messages but this action has deleted the main contents…

It took me a whole day to understand, manage and create 2 landing pages and now it looks like all my hard work is gone.

Another issue I have is that when you click on view one of the versions (A), it takes me to version B of the page. It doesn’t happen the other way around and it doesn’t happen every time. There is no way you can do testing.

I am starting to think that this plug in doesn’t do what it says it does. I have never had so many issues installing and using a plug in. Certainly, I have never had to visit my root directory to find out plugin errors.

Please advice what the best way to fix this mess.

    Beatriz

Hi David, see below message from Hostgator. I look forward to your reply.

Thank you for your clarification. I turned on the ‘WP_DEBUG’ option in your wp-config.php file and this is what was displayed on your website:

Strict Standards: Redefining already defined constructor for class Appointments in /home2/beahg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/appointments/appointments.php on line 43

Warning: session_start(): Cannot send session cache limiter – headers already sent (output started at /home2/beahg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/appointments/appointments.php:43) in /home2/beahg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/ninja-forms/ninja-forms.php on line 294

Strict Standards: Redefining already defined constructor for class AppointmentsGcal in /home2/beahg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/appointments/includes/class.gcal.php on line 26

Notice: Undefined variable: store in /home2/beahg/public_html/wp-content/plugins/landing-pages/modules/module.javascript-frontend.php on line 110

Notice: WOOCOMMERCE_USE_CSS is deprecated since version 2.1! Use Styles should be removed using wp_deregister_style or the woocommerce_enqueue_styles filter rather than the WOOCOMMERCE_USE_CSS constant. instead. in /home2/beahg/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 3078

However, in the interest of preserving the display of your website, I have since turned off the option so that visitors will not see these messages when visiting your website. I hope that this information proves to be of use to you and your developer.

Hi David, thanks for the response.

I can’t find a wp-config.php file in my appearance-editor menu. I am not a developer so I may not be understanding what you mean.

Could it be under a different name or am I looking in the wrong place?

    Thanks
