In reply to: [Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway] cc not showing fields sometimesAfter enabling logging inside checkout.js, I get Reference Errors inside the browser console.

If I refresh and the fields load correctly, this is what I get in the log
Is there a way we can better communicate to fix this bug?

In reply to: [Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway] CC Fields not workingI believe I may have discovered the problem. It looks like there is a conflict with Woocommerce Subscriptions. When disabling this plugin, it works every time. When enabling it, the issue arises.
This issue is present on both Woo Subscriptions 2.0.8 and the latest 2.0.13
edit: I may have spoken too soon. Re-enabling my theme and other plugins brought back the issue despite leaving Woocommerce Subscriptions off. It seems this plugin really doesn’t play well with other themes and plugins

In reply to: [Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway] cc not showing fields sometimesCan you please advise on this issue?
I have done everything you mentioned. I tested multiple browsers, I disabled all plugins but WooCommerce and PayPal Powered by Braintree, I changed to a default theme.
I tried to submit a ticket at the link you posted but am not allowed to as I have not bought a plugin yet from woothemes.
Hi Clayton,
Since posting this I have a better idea of the issue. It’s not merely that the next payment date is not updated, but an order Id is not created for the recurring payment.
Like I mentioned in the emails, I was wrong and no transaction is shown in the debug log. Also no notes are added to the subscription. However the trigger events show that it was fired, but no new trigger event is created for the next recurring payment.
I have completed payments set to active like you say.
I will update to the newer version with improved error reporting and see if it helps
All the best,

In reply to: [WooCommerce] PayPal not being supportive with Reference TransactionsHi Mike,
Have you heard back from PayPal?

In reply to: [Braintree for WooCommerce Payment Gateway] CC Fields not workingHi,
I am experiencing the same thing. I disabled all plugins but Woocommerce, Woocommerce Subscriptions (as the product is a subscription), and this plugin. I also switched to Twenty Fifteen theme.
Sometimes on the checkout page the fields don’t load, and after a few refreshes they will appear. When they do appear, a refresh of the page might make them disappear. It’s really random, and quite disheartening as this will surely confuse customers and cause loss of sales.
What can be done about this?
pmciano,
Very helpful indeed. Thank you.
I was hoping that Reference transactions wouldn’t be required though with this plugin. PayPal refuses to enable it on my account.
You wouldn’t happen to know if Braintree has any similar requirements (Reference transactions) for Card payments?
After some reading, it appears that the plugin indeed supports Woocommerce Subscriptions. And there appears to be an option for Immediate Capture of funds.
However, I can’t seem to find any information on whether Reference Transactions are required for PayPal, or whether the plugin supports subscription switching.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Plugin similar to PayPal for SubscriptionsThank you for the suggestion. I will look into that.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] PayPal not being supportive with Reference TransactionsMike, that would be very much appreciated! Please let me know since PayPal seem to make direct communication very difficult.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] PayPal not being supportive with Reference TransactionsYes I know, I have a business account, but business support is a different thing apparently which I don’t qualify for.
Edit: In an initial email they stated my company would need to generate $100,000 per year, but in a more recent email they state the following:
“You need to have at least 90 days of PayPal account
Have received more than $10.000,00 in commercial payments and have an income of 2.500 euros or more per month.
After reaching these requirements, you can request for Business support to your account.”Firstly, they seem to be inconsistent in the requirements. Secondly, has anybody been successful in enabling Reference Transactions without meeting this criteria? They just block startups completely?
I will do further testing tomorrow, however I think something isn’t right. I paid for a subscription upgrade (switch subscription), yet it didn’t prorate my payment. I have Woocommerce subscriptions set to prorate recurring payment for upgrades, yet it charged $0.00 for the transaction.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Plugin similar to PayPal for SubscriptionsSIM doesn’t fit my needs. It needs to be CIM for automatic recurring payments. But thank you.
I just tried one of the other VISA codes 4007000000027, and it worked in the end. So for some reason 4111111111111111 does not work.
