In reply to: Mobile Website Development Question1. Yes, same database.
2. I would probably start with some sort of media query (google it), which would call a different css file, in the current theme. I would build it all in one theme……hope that’s a start.

In reply to: Background image DIV only on homepageYou will want to play with z-index I’m thinking. In your css, the top element should have a higher z-index than the bottom. z-index will only work with certain positioning attributes however – such as absolute, and maybe relative? You will have to research that.

In reply to: I want to hide a featured image in my postThere is a specific featured image box at the bottom right of your post editor. IF this is what you are using for your featured posts, then we are on the right track. You will have to open the theme’s post file and find the featured image code and take it out of the WP loop. This way it will still display on the home page, but not in posts.

In reply to: [Visual Form Builder] [Plugin: Visual Form Builder] Custom error messagesI’ve never used that form building plugin. Instead I would recommend Contact Form 7. You can customize the error messages, email it goes to, visual look, etc. It also allows for file uploading.
If you really want to style it to look perfect, I’m sure both plugins would only require simple CSS changes.

In reply to: Store Plugin Not WorkingI’ve never used WP Online Store, but I have used WP e-commerce on a few sites. It isn’t that hard. If the sidebar isn’t working, it’s probably something in your theme. Double check you have all your tags like wp_footer, header, and…. I think that’s all? I know the footer tag gets me all the time.
Other than that… wp-ecommerce grid view looks just like the one you linked first. Maybe post on commerce support form for the theme/commerce issues.

In reply to: Post title gone weird?Seems to work fine for me. Oh, fyi, unless your website is getting like 100 000 monthly page views, there’s pretty much no point in google adsense ads, unless you wish to confuse your audience further with a such a blocky layout.

In reply to: [User Access Manager] [Plugin: User Access Manager] Redirect user not workingThe guys code at the bottom of this post still worked for me: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-user-access-manager-problem-with-redirects?replies=13
I don’t remember if I had to change my structure or not to what he mentions.
It WILL work by itself with no modifications if you go back to default permalinks.
permalinkSame problem. The redirect will not work with custom permalinks.

In reply to: Amazing page transitions for WordPressGreat idea… but speed issues will probably make me avoid this. I’m on high speed and sat for a good 7-8 seconds. Not good for quick visitors just wanting contact info. Very cool depending on the audience though
