In reply to: Update to WP 6.4 error cURL error 28.It matters NOT what version I have, I am CRAWLING when trying to login, my Site health, huh, you might as WELL KNOCK api.wordpress.anything off line: its not helping me, and the github people just closed out the issue: I want a FIX for this, as SECURITY is compromosed as long as this REST API amd loopback and all this still are here, PLEASE, I wanna KILL my websites, this should NOT cause my who network running 4 dimains to DIE
Help me please 🙁 am going MAD 🙁 the Curl.php.zip has been replaced, what am I doing wrong??

In reply to: Update to WP 6.4 error cURL error 28.OK: Im getting the Curl Error 28: I know that I had an older version of Curl, but something is UP and causing problems: I dont know how to FIX this, and while the info from @tomsommer tells you WHY it may happen, it does NOT tell me what to do to fix it: I have V 6.03 and 6.32, and still no fix is available.
Meanwhile: all my domains are having the same trouble, and it wasn’t doing this before, and i would like someone to create a plugin to ELIMINATE this error, for the time being, and then when you update WP again, add that functional fix to the next wordpress release – I beg you!!
I keep getting:

This does NOT fix anything, and it is causing all of my domains to be RUNNING S-L-O-W! I cant believe that increasing file limits or wordpress limits makes a difference, and if the install DIES when trying to access

Something is wrong, and it is NOT something I can fix: will wordpress 6.4 FIX this, so my plugins work and will not cause errors with Curl? I KNOW I havnt changed much, but Ive tried new version of curl with no sucess: can someone help me fix this??

In reply to: How to make sure all plugins work with PHP/SQLI have used and HAD used the php Compatibility checker Plugin to check the compatibility of ALL of the plugins on all sites. With all due respect sir:
I WILL NOT update/upgrade/change ANYTHING unless I can be sure that for each plugin that I have in the list, there is a competent REPLACEMENT or update/upgrade for each of them.
The Reasoning is: The Deb 8 Install works with all of the plugins that I have loaded. when I upgraded to Debian 11, and then reinstalled my websites and then tried to access the sites, I could NOT access anything – so, because I couldn’t even get to anything, I had to BLOW it AWAY, and Downgrade back to where I was – Took me weeks, because I had to undo and reinstall things to get it back to what I had before the upgrade. There are NO ways to check to see how this works, for me, because I dont have another server environment to test on, so localhosting is not possible without 2 servers. I NEED to have access to wordpress in order to login and I cant do that by blind upgrading. I even disabled these things, and still BIG mess.
To get to PHP/MYSQL current version, and make sure I am running them, I HAVE to update to DEB11, there is NO way to change the PHP version of the server, and 5.6 works and I need to upgrade – I cant do an “in place upgrade” as this is 3 versions newer than my current version.
Debian 11 REQUIRES you to change some of the things that you need. The last time I made an upgrade attempt it failed, and I NEED to see a list of things compatible with 7.3/7.4/8.0 and the Mysql as well – If I could SEE what works with debian 11, I could then have a better idea of what is going on BEFORE I get a blank page when trying to access sites when wordpress wont even load.
I have the list of the output for the PHP compatibility Checker that I can post if needed. I think its the PHP version that is the issue, but I am not sure – Remember that Deb 11 does NOT even have SQL, it uses MariaDB, and I cant even access anything to troubleshoot.

Good Afternoon:
As of 15:45 EST this date, I think we were able to determine what the problem was regarding this plugin. I had a friend access my site from his work machine and he was able to see the above link

This problem was apparently caused because I had 2 problems:
1 – I had the wrong plugin shortcode for the plugin in question – I believe they should be [youtube]LINK[/youtube] and I had a link in there from another pkugin
2 – I had some sort of IE 11 Add on that was a “privacy protector” that was enabled in this browser – I tested the linkage using firefox, with NO errors, but realized that the IE add on may be causing problems – Disabled it, and VIOLA -No Problems – It appears to work OK – Gonna test on my DOT com and DOT ORG sometime later tomorrow 🙂
Can you tell me if the PRO version of this plugin would help me?? what can I do with it – very interested in it for all my sites.

Have made the changes as instructed: However, I am not sure how to list a youtube link so that it works. do you use [youtube]URL.here.com[/youtube] or do you use [ytembed]URL.here.com[/ytembed] and there is a THIRD Option in one plugin that you use [ytembed]URL.here.com[/ytembed] or as wordpress says [embed]URL.here.com[/embed]This can be confusing because each plugin has differing controls and admin options in the panel of each – I will DISABLE all other YouTube plugins if I can find the one that is easiest to use – Then will download, activate and use it on all my wordpress installs.
Can I use the same API key for all THREE of my domains: (a .com, a .us, and a .org) without having to make keys for all of these?

I have other youtube plugins installed, but only the one from EmbedPlus Team is active, and I need help to see if I have done something wrong with placing links in my posts
