In reply to: [The Events Calendar] iCalendar button disappears in Deafault Page TemplateHi James,
one post above Jaime wrote:The word “website” only appears with the Block Editor on my end as well.
so it’s not just a case of my theme I guess.
James, I will be happy to give you access to my site in a private message if it is possible (by email?)

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] iCalendar button disappears in Deafault Page TemplateHi Jaime,
Unfortunately, using the block editor changes the design of this page too much for me 🙁 so I would like to stay with the classic editor view.
Will you be able to fix this bug? Maybe in the next update? 🙂
Best regards,

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] iCalendar button disappears in Deafault Page TemplateHi James,
I disabled all plugins and enabled the default wordpress theme – still no “Website” is displaying. But I tested with block editor and it works with block editor and word Website appears. But when I save the event in the classic editor – the word Website disappears. Could you please check it?Here is a recording of the code you asked for, I hope it will be useful:

The plugin you sent me did what I wanted – thank you!Regarding the first issue – can I somehow send you a private message with a link to my site?

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] iCalendar button disappears in Deafault Page TemplateHi Jaime, thanks for your reply.
I am using Block Editor. I am using Tribe Events Styles and Default Page Template and also have “Use updated calendar designs” enabled. In this situation, the description does not appear to me. However, if I turn off “Use udpated calendar designs” then the description appears. See my screenshots: https://www.dropbox.com/s/b7eoimpz8it64pl/calendar01.jpg?dl=0Regarding the second thing: could you tell me where to add this attribute? There is a lot of code in the file and I am not a programmer…. 🙁

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] iCalendar button disappears in Deafault Page TemplateHello GeoffBel
thank you for your reply! So I will wait for your update to fix this problem 🙂In the meantime, I have 2 more issues with this calendar view:
1. In Default Events Template a description for the website is missing. There is description for date, time and tags, but no description for website. How can I complete it? https://www.dropbox.com/s/66k1obz0eyn5gjs/calendar01.png?dl=0
2. Can links to Google Calendar and iCalendar (once you fix that) open in a new window? How can I do this?
Best regards!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] iCalendar button disappears in Deafault Page TemplateHello, thanks for the quick reply!
I put your code in functions.php but unfortunately it didn’t help 🙁Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [The Events Calendar] iCalendar button disappears in Deafault Page TemplateWe have two concerns in this ticket. One is the Appearance of the Add to Calendar button and the second is if you use Default Events Template as the Events Template from the Events Display settings then both Google Calendar and ICalendar is showing but if you use Default Page Template as the Events Template from the Events Display settings and the Use updated calendar designs checkbox is enabled then only the Google Calendar is showing.
If these are the scenarios then I would like to inform you that, the Appearance of the Add to Calendar button mostly depends on the Use updated calendar designs checkbox settings.
If you enable the Use updated calendar designs checkbox: https://nimb.ws/kYMLmg and the Events template is Default Events Template then the Button will look like this: https://nimb.ws/ncoWB6
But if you disable the Use updated calendar designs checkbox: https://nimb.ws/jfmXI4 and the Events template is Default Events Template then the Button will look like this: https://nimb.ws/nWQ9RL
Now, If you enable the Use updated calendar designs checkbox: https://nimb.ws/wvtOXs and the Events template is Default Page Template then only the Google Calendar Button is showing. Scenario with the Default theme: https://nimb.ws/AXc2gu
And if you disable the Use updated calendar designs checkbox: https://nimb.ws/nZk9Iv and the Events template is Default Page Template then both of the Button is showing. Default theme: https://nimb.ws/J7VHIR
In this case, If you enable the Use updated calendar designs checkbox: https://nimb.ws/wvtOXs and the Events template is Default Page Template then why only the Google Calendar Button is showing.
What should I do to make the iCalendar button appear as well?
Hello Josh,
thank you for your response. I already find the source of this problem – it is all about
“Show in Entry List” checkbox 🙂 Now everything works 🙂Regards!
