In reply to: WP 4.3 Update Messed Up HomepageThank you for your reply. Unfortunately, contacting Elegant themes for help is not an option. My membership has long expired and they are unable to provide assistance to non-members. The problem never occurred until I updated to WP 4.3 so the problem reasonably falls on WordPress. I cannot leave my site as it is, I would greatly appreciate help from WP as their product caused this problem.

I’m still a little unclear on the RSS issue. I tried it on Explorer and it worked fine. I tried it on Chrome and I got the XML data stream you mentioned as being normal. So my question is, do RSS feeds only show up when they are being viewed on a RSS feed app/website like Feedly, etc? It’s been a while since I worked on my RSS feed, and now it all seems so foreign to me!

What I’ve gleaned from them is “clean your files” but my issue is that I’m not perfectly clear on the specifics of how to go about cleaning these files with my limited knowledge. I’m hesitant to start whacking away at things and accidentally delete something I need, but I guess I have no choice but to try it and hope for the best. Just to be clear, are these WP files I’m changing or theme files?
Is there any chance of saving my custom theme changes or should I just give that up?

Would you happen to know if there’s a way to retrieve the email address of the sender of a recent email? I got it before the fix you recommended. I’m not sure if this is possible, but if it is, I really need to know.
