In reply to: [Olsen Light] How to Set Featured Images as the size as they areHi Nik,
I did use that plugin and tried to regenerate the thumbnail for the single post.
I tried it again but it still doesn’t work, as you can see here. The size for the thumbnail is still 665 x 435 pixels.
I added some screenshots of my backend here, hoping they could give up some clues of what’s going wrong. π

In reply to: [Olsen Light] How to Set Featured Images as the size as they areI havenβt fix it. Iβm using a plugin right now (Featured Image from URL), so it shows up as the URL image size. I tried this morning and it still does not work when I used the original featured image column.

In reply to: [Olsen Light] How to Set Featured Images as the size as they areHi, thanks for replying.
I’ve added the scripts you provided in the functions.php and regenerated the thumbnails, but it still doesn’t work.
The thumbnail size is still 665 x 435 pixels.
I’m wondering that whether it’s me that I put it wrong or something.
I took a screenshot and place it here.Hope that you could take a look and maybe find something wrong for this issue.
Thank you.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Olsen Light] How to Set Featured Images as the size as they areHi Nik @nvourva,
I did regenerate the thumbnails, but it still does not work.
And when I just want to try to test by regenerating one thumbnail of a post, it shows that my image doesn’t fit the 680*907 I set. However, the image is exactly 680*907, so I don’t know where goes wrong…
I’m also thinking is there any way to use CSS to set the thumbnail size instead of PHP in functions.php? cus I’m worried about the updates in the future will wipe out all the modifications I made. BTW, I’m using a child theme right now.
Thank you.
Hi, I’ve done the review. Thank you again.
However, as I look the PHP scripts carefully, I’m thinking there might be some misunderstanding.
I mean to create the 3 feature-post sections on top (for 3 different posts) and 3 footer widgets on the bottom (for Instagram feed widget, subscribe newsletter column, etc.)
I’m not 100% sure but I think the PHP scripts you mention above seem to create a single widget column for the footer and op the top respectively.
Because I’m not very sure, I just want to make this confirmation before I really “do the magic” (add the scripts, which really scares me in some degree…)
Hi, thanks for replying.
The category problem has gone, but the “Missing XML tag” errors still exist. I didn’t and don’t include tags in my sitemap setting, so I don’t know how to deal with this issue…
And I found that the number of my submitted sitemap has decreased from 5,317 to 1,016 (saw the report from Google Console).
I did make some changes in the XML setting, but only on the “Enable Sitemap Indexes,” which I still do not know should I check it or not.
I’m wondering is there an easy way to know how many URLs in my sitemap? In the sitemap setting, I only check the “post”, “page”, and “category” box, as I did before.
I’m really worried about this in fear that I’ve made some serious mistakes. Really hope I could fix this soon.
Is there any setting that I did affects the amount of the submitted sitemap?
Thank you.

In reply to: [Olsen Light] Inline script blocksHi, thanks for the reply.
I do not actually know whether I have Custom CSS. I only add some code in the custom CSS box in the theme editor. I actually do not want to use a Child theme because I think the custom CSS box in custom editor is enough. If this is the case, how should I find the inline block and figure out whether I can do with or without it?
For the second, I already find the two fonts from Google Fonts and find a folder name “fonts” in the theme file. I think I should just download the two fonts and place them into the folder. But after I download them, I find that they have different styles (italic, light, regular, etc.) Should I put all font style into the folder or just the regular one? Thanks.
I’m actually not really familiar with this.

Hi, I mean, I see the URL has changed from “http://XXXXXXXX&action=edit#aiosp” to “http://XXXXXXXX&action=edit#aioseop_opengraph_settings.” But it actually does not switch to the Social Settings tab to let me adjust the settings.
