In reply to: Custom posts type items disappear the moment they are createdI have done everything by the book regarding the Custom post section, and I have also reset my permalinks and more, so it should just work.
No WordPress wizards out there who has any ideas on how to fix this?

In reply to: Custom posts type items disappear the moment they are createdHi jnhghy,
Thanks for your answer.
To answer your question?
I took a screenshot from the c-panel in the table wp_posts (copy-pasted into TextEdit and scaled in order to capture it, so sorry it looks messed up):
http://cl.ly/392y2l3I2S2W1Y2k0k2RWhat I think is weird and different from the other posts is that: post_date_gmt is “0000-00-00 00:00:00” on all the posts.
I tried changing the “post_date_gmt” to a proper date, but it still doesn’t show up under jobs.
Changing the post type from “jobs” to “posts” doesn’t make it appear in the backend either (and the numbers of “items” remain the same in the bottom right corner of the posts screen)Any ideas?
All the best
Anders

Fixed it for me as well! Thanks!
Experiecing the same problem as Chris Barret, but I can do the change he suggests for the same that kletskater mentions – there’s only the following on the home tab.:
Home & frontYou can title and description for the front set by the front itself edit »
You can title and description for the blog page set by editing the front page now ».
B.tw. How do I change the “resolved” to “unresolved”? The problem hasn’t been resolved yet.
Hi sireneweb,
Thanks for your suggestion! Unfortunately it still shows the same in FireFox. Any more ideas?

I have the exact same problems. It doesn’t happen in Safari, however it happens in both Chrome and FireFox. Any ideas?
Hi 0v3rki11,
I’m experiencing the exact same problem as you. I was wondering if you ever managed to fix the problem?

In reply to: WordPress messes up CSS class namesHi Esmi,
Thanks a lot for your kind help. After following your tips I found out that it was SEO Smartlinks that added the slashes. Disabling it fixed the problem!
Thanks again for your help!

In reply to: WordPress messes up CSS class namesTo followup, I just tested my localhost (where the code works perfectly) and there Magic Quotes ARE enabled. So magic quotes aren’t the problem.
Anybody has any idea on what else could be causing these “\problems?

In reply to: WordPress messes up CSS class namesThanks! It still hasn’t fixed the problem. Is there anything I can do to manually fix the problem?

In reply to: WordPress messes up CSS class namesThanks a lot for your reply esmi! I told my webhost. Unfortunately, they don’t seem to now what exactly mysql_escape is and how to fix it. They turned off Magic Quotes, but it didn’t make any difference.
Any ideas on what exact PHP module it is, or what else to do?
