Same problem :-/
I’ve got the same problem. WP 3.2.1 and ACE 1.4.3
Deactivation (I’ve deleted the plugins folder using FTP) of the plugin brought my blog up again.

This seems to happen because both plugins use the EpiCurl class to connect to twitter.
At the moment it isn’t possible to use them side-by-side. I’m working on a fix but I do not have enough time to bring up a solution in the next two months.

Can you please send me a screenshot of your php settings using phpinfo() and a dump of your current database to tobias.undeutsch (at) bannerweb (dot) ch?

Version 1.5.0.1 has just been submited and should be able to download and install within 15 minutes.

Just delete teh plugins folder (your-wp-installation\wp-content\plugins\wp-security-scan) to fix your blog.
The backup files are located in the “Simple WordPress” Backup plugins folder http://yourblog.com/wp-content/plugins/simple-wordpress-backup/backups/
I’ll add this feature in an future release of this plugin.

I had the same problem on a clean WordPress 3.1 installation. There where no messages like “Your install is incomplete” or “Your settings are out of date”.
A reset fixed my problem. Thanks.
