absolutely – this is already changed in my dev version – lots of new changes on the way!
Just to let everyone know, I am adjusting the plugin to schedule an event for each post – because that is a much better way to go about this. When the plugin first came about I believe there was some limitations with that route.
Either way, I hope to have something ready for “testing” in the next week or so (pending all goes well). Any volunteers to test it out?
The plugin does not do anything to specifically remove javascript, and that doesn’t make sense either. If you provide a block of sample code I can test it and see – are you saying it is being removed at expire time or at post time?
I would start by re-downloading the core WP files to make sure everything is intact
how are you adding the facebook code into the post? Via a plugin or some other method?
That sounds very strange – could it be a weird browser caching issue? The way the plugin is designed it shouldn’t impact anything if you were logged in or not …
In the WP admin interface, are the posts still showing up or are they gone? In theory if you have it set to delete, you should not see the post anywhere in the admin interface
I am not able to reproduce that line 46 error on my installation with the latest WP 3.5.1.
I just tested on a single WP install and a MS enabled install and it is running every minute … as there any other weird things about your setup?
Great – glad to hear its working! In general, there is not anything in the plugin that would not work correct with any correctly developed WordPress theme.
This plugin is still supported – there is a shortcode available – does that work?
add_action is a core wordpress function – I would try reinstalling your main wordpress site, something isn’t right
are there other plugins installed?
I do see you have it set to hourly – that means it will only expire posts every hour .. instead of every minute. Have you waited an hour after the set expiration time?
