What I did was to follow the manual install option using the instructions here: here

So the site appears to be updated, but when I browse to a site it appears to be blank.

The files and data still exist. I can see them in the backend. But I cannot see the live site.

Does this ring a bell?

I have my backups and can start from scratch if need be. Should I start over?
