In reply to: Unable to change General Settings Email AddressI ended up using a plugin called SendGrid to resolve this issue. yes, my email was with Godaddy and they have some funky restrictions. SendGrid changes something so that it checks out ok with Godaddy, so I started receiving email that was being sent from my site. At that point I was able to verify my email address change and now all is well.
I’m not advocating SendGrid, because I’m new to them and I don’t know nearly enough about them to recommend them yet, other than their software solved my problem. But I can’t recommend them for any reasons beyond that. For example, so far I don’t know if their customer service is good or terrible.

In reply to: Unable to change General Settings Email Address@mateusgetulio , i did some additional testing to see if it would work if I set my WP admin email to other email addresses. I tried two other domain email addresses (both entirely different domains hosted by major email providers) and they both worked, meaning I received email at those addresses of my pending email change with a link to click to confirm it. Then when I try the admin@peepsprout.com domain that I use for my website, I am still not receiving the confirmation email at that address or in its junk folder. What could make it so the email change confirmation notice goes to some email addresses/domains just fine, but never shows up at others?

In reply to: Adding WWW – There must be an easy way! Thanks t-p. Somehow my hosting company went in and got it to work. I don’t know what they did, but I’m assuming maybe it was a problem on their end that they simply fixed.

In reply to: Adding WWW – There must be an easy way!UPDATE – My web hosting company helped me resolve part of this. Now my site comes up when typing in http://www.peepsprout.com and peepsprout.com, but when the sites comes up it displays https://peepsprout.com/ in the url address bar. I’d prefer that it show the www. If it doesn’t matter at all (SEO, traffic reporting, etc), then I can leave it as is. Someone please advise – thanks.
