I realize this thread is several months old but I just started using KingComposer and wanted to share the method I found for this in case it helps any future seekers of knowledge.
- Create a row
- Set a video background
- Create an inner row
- Set a rgba background for the overlay color
- Put all content into inner row
You may need to play with height and padding on the rows. The equal height setting seems to take care of most issues.
I am not experiencing the loop problem Niki Bilejn described.
