Thank you. Yes, it is perfect in Firefox and Netscape. The site-description totally disappears in IE8, but what can you expect from good ol’ MS. It’s putting a whole blank header in my other blog while it looks great in Firefox and Netscape.

Thanks again for all the help!!

Thanks for the help, but the image link seemed to work best between the masthead and branding tags. And I think I got the CSS code for the masthead and site-title in the right place…

Except now my tagline is no longer right-justified and is higher than the logo. Any ideas on how to fix?

Thanks for all the help so far!! I really do appreciate it!!

Wow! Thanks, all of your tips have made a big difference.

The only thing I’m still stuck on is the CSS for adding the logo in place of the title. Thirty Ten has 3 CSS files and draws from the 3 Twenty Ten files too. I can’t find a masthead reference in any of them.

Which file do I need to adjust the code in? The Twenty Ten style.css sheet has a site-title section, but I don’t want to hose anything.

Can you be more specific about where that code needs to go?

    Thank you so much!!!

As a long time WP user, I don’t generally ask a question without searching the forum and documentation first. I really don’t appreciate an answer of “dupe” with a link back to my original post. It wouldn’t have taken much to reply with “look here” and a link or “your file is hosed,” would it?

    Thanks for the help, HandySolo!

denyerec, I just wanted to say thanks for the advice! I’m up and running and I really like the new goodies that you’ve added to AMM! A great plugin that’s now even better. Thank you!!

I’ve been a long time user of WordPress 1.2 and Amazon Media Manager 1.0. I am getting ready to upgrade WordPress to the latest version and I want to make sure my Amazon stuff carries over too, so I’m also planning to upgrade to AMM 1.5. I know the ropes on upgrading WP because I’ve just completed it on another blog that doesn’t have AMM.

The documentation for upgrading AMM is a little unclear (I understand that you’ve just released this, so I’m not trying to be critical when I say that…), but I’m not sure which files I’ll have to delete before upgrading? Do I upload the contents of the upgrade zip and the 1.5 zip, or just the upgrade zip? With upgrading both WP and AMM, will my media info still be there when I’m done?

If you want to see how I’m currently using AMM, my blog is: http://www.athomemom.net/wp Scroll down about half way and there is media content on both of my sidebars. Thanks for any help you can give me!

    Nope, I didn’t fix it. That’s interesting — it’s short in IE6. I don’t know?

OK, I’ve also just discovered that the link manager is messed up. At the top of the Link page in WP-Admin, I get the following messages:
Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home/ahm/public_html/wp/wp-content/plugins/weather.php:627) in /home/ahm/public_html/wp/wp-admin/link-manager.php on line 563

I’m going to have to deactivate the plugin until I can get this resolved. I really like it though, and I hope that my non-techy mind (with some wonderful help) can get it working.

Too easy! Thanks for the help!!

    I’m sorry if I sound dense, but I’m a CSS noob…
I tried doing as you suggested, cutting and pasting the #container-left section to the menu section. I renamed #container-left, #menu container and cut the left px to 0. Now the image isn’t showing up at all. I also deleted the div container reference in the index.php.
I know I probably botched something up in that, but I haven’t got a clue as to what.
    Thanks for the help!

It should be right: http://athomemom.net/wp/index.php I just right moused and copied it here. There’s also a link at http://www.athomemom.net
    Thanks for trying!!

No, the image shows up, but the content that was on the right side of the page shifts over to the bottom of the left side.

OK, I gotcha! Thanks so much for the help, lawtai!!!
Thanks anyway, anonymous, but I’m trying to stay away from tables.

Would I add < ul > < /ul > brackets to the wp-layout.css file? Because the code above is from that file, not the index.php file.
