In reply to: Continually getting the same error in logsThe error log is from my host. When I get the internal error message it says:
500 internal server error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
You gave me those two errors saying that they repeat continually throughout the error log and to try and fix them. Saying maybe that was the cause of the problem.
Is there a way for me to find out specifically what the internal error is?

In reply to: Continually getting the same error in logsYes the site works but I am having issue with a different plug-in (postie). I get an internal error message when I click on links generated by the postie plug-in. It was suggested that I try and correct the errors to see if they corrected the issue with the plug-in. Even though the plug-in causing the errors are a completely different plug-in. It didn’t make sense to me, but I thought I would give it a try since nothing else I am doing is working

In reply to: Continually getting the same error in logsI first deactivated it and that did not fix the problem. So I deleted it through the dashboard by going to the plug-in page and clicking delete. I was looking at my database in myPHPadmin and there are some tables that I think are from the plug-in. But I am not sure. I contacted the plug-in administrator to find out if those tables are related to the plug-in. Thanks any help would be greatly appreciated. I am completely stumped

In reply to: Continually getting the same error in logsFirst I tried deactivating the plug-in any errors still occurred. So I completely erased the plug-in and cleared all my cashes and the errors still occur. Any thoughts? I thought by deleting the plug-in that would solve the problem

In reply to: Blank siteI have that version of WordPress saved on my computer and I compared all of the files and they are all there. I forgot to mention that when a look at all of my files in the directory they are all there, plug-in files, theme files etc. but when I log into the dashboard and I click on plug-ins or themes there is nothing there. If I try to redownload them through the dashboard it says that a folder with that name already exists.
But know that in the WP–contents file that used to be eight files and now there are only six. In trying to remember what the files were called and I think one started with the C and the other one started with WP – but I can’t be certain.
Any other thoughts?

In reply to: [Postie] Can't select IMAP SSL in PostieI still get the same warning message. Someone had suggested “If you have a smart phone or something you can do a test by setting it up via IMAP protocol, that way you can rule out the plugin being the cause. Just a thought.
” But I have no idea what that means. Or if I should try it.I tried all different combinations of the email protocol, TLS and port. No luck.
Any other thoughts?

In reply to: [Postie] Can't select IMAP SSL in PostieOkay, I’ve gotten my website hosting provider to enable PHP IMAP and I am able to select it, but now I am getting a warning message when it is trying to login.
Warning: imap_open(): Couldn’t open stream {mail.lknife.com:993/service=imap/ssl/tls/novalidate-cert} in /home/hbco/pos/wp-content/plugins/postie/postieIMAP.php on line 89
I have double checked the username and password, I’ve contacted both my web hosting provider and my email provider to make sure that everything is installed properly. Any thoughts on how to fix this?
