You need to add a “Featured image” for every post you have. The theme doesn’t show one of your post images in the Homepage. Instead it uses the featured image for that post. To add a featured image to your posts, from the post editor, scroll down to the bottom and click on “Set featured image”. Choose your featured image and save then go to your Homepage & refresh. Now you should see your image.
This feature will be added in the coming update!

me too, i am struggling to find a desent way!
submitting your theme (if free) to wordpress.org themes directory is your first step. then try to contact some blogger to recommend your theme or buy some paid posts & stay away from PPC like google adword if you are a beginner you will lose your money.
