Please add this CSS code to EventON > Styles (If you don’t see any change, EventON > Scripts & Styling > turn off Write dynamic styles to header > save settings > turn on Write dynamic styles to header). You can also add this code to wp-admin > Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

I want to hide it, because changing between Title or Date does not seem to do anything, just shows the same order.

There is a difference between Title and Date. Could you send us a link to your website?

When you set Start/End Times, do you refer to Universal time or Local Time: https://i.imgur.com/HwCxzrVl.png
Please note that you need to make sure that event’s time is set relating to Local Time. So (from the screenshot above) it should be less than 14:57 to make sure that it’s still progressing.
