In reply to: Error updating plugins and themes (ssh authentication)@diondesigns on ubuntu there is a package that does it (php5-ssh2). I am pretty sure that it is installed and it worked until 2-3 days ago after i installed the plugin mentioned in the first post.
How do i configure it? Is it a better option than my standard setup?

In reply to: Error updating plugins and themes (ssh authentication)@vizwa I don’t think it’s not server related. Permissions are fine, I have checked them a lot of times, auth.log doesn’t show anything (it should have traces of login failures if it was server related).

In reply to: Error updating plugins and themes (ssh authentication)@esmi yes, the ssh php extension is installed. The website has been working for 6 months without a single problem and the updates have been managed with ssh. Now it is showing me the problem.
