Plugin Installation

Especially useful is the “Apply bug fixes and optimizations” feature, which helped to eliminate bugs in the standard WordPress Sitemap. Also now compatible with the Polylang plugin.
2. When is the release of a new version of XML Sitemap & Google News, in which it will be possible to separate posts by number, expected?
As I was able to determine, the redirect is due to the fact that the date archives are disabled on the site (to get rid of unnecessary “garbage”) and a redirect to the main page of the site is set.
Please clarify:
1. Do I understand correctly that the XML Sitemap & Google News plugin will not work without including the date archive?
2. Is it possible to divide the posts in the Sitemap into separate Sitemaps not by date (month, year), but by the number of posts (1000, 2000, etc.) – how is this done in a standard WordPress Sitemap? We have 13,000 posts in one custom post type, so they need to be separated somehow so that they are in different XML files.

Duplicate content in wp-sitemap-posts-news-1.xml and
/wp-sitemap-posts-news-2.xml is most likely related to using the Polylang plugin.But even after disabling all plugins and installing the default WordPress theme, the default WordPress XML sitemap wp-sitemap.xml does not work correctly. If this is not the first xml file (NOT equal to 1), but for example 2, 3 or 4, then /wp-sitemap-posts-news-2.xml is loaded, but a 404 error is visible in the console. Search engines also cannot access such XML sitemap (2, 3, 4…)

We have now added ‘hierarchical’ => false to the post type. Separation for month / year in the settings is now available. But in /sitemap.xml, when we click on the link /sitemap-posttype-news.202209.xml (or another similar one), a redirect to the main page of the site occurs.
How to solve this problem?

We have seen this functionality.
Unfortunately, due to the fact that images were stored mixed up on the old platform, but WordPress sorts them strictly by upload date, it is very difficult to find a match for each file.

And we ourselves want to get rid of the chaotic storage of images and give them a system sorting (by date).

Such a large number of redirects is because a large site is transferred to WordPress from another platform that had a different URL structure. Therefore, we cannot do without a 301 redirect. When search engines glue links, we will disable most of the redirects.

Where can I find a list of all errors (error text) Ultimate Member to translate them using the Polylang plugin function pll_register_string. Because Polylang doesn’t find the error strings from the Ultimate Member plugin to translate them.
